What should I wear to a Mad Hatter Tea Party Auction?

Feel free to come as you are or take advantage of a chance you get dressed up. Make it formal, festive, business casual, or just plain MAD.  Our goal is to create a fun and festive atmosphere where you will have a chance to connect and have fun with other adults in our Chestnut Hill Academy community.

For fun everyone is invited to come wearing festive British style hats - fancy fascinators for the ladies and Top Hats of any kind for the gentleman. The Mad Hatter's Tea Party is taken from the book and movies "Alice in Wonderland".

Who benefits from the CHAPTER fundraiser? What programs are funded?

Funds raised go directly back to our community in alignment with CHAPTER’s three mission pillars:

• Enrich Education - by providing activities, materials or equipment to enrich the academic experience of the children beyond what is provided by an elite school education, funding for special academic initiatives, to emphasize and strengthen specific areas such as Science, Math, etc. as a supplement to the curriculum provided.

• Promote Child Development - by providing activities and materials to promote the emotional, physical, social and cultural development of the children beyond what is provided by an elite school education.

• Build Community - by promoting a strong culture that bonds families, faculty and staff, and by supporting the external community through volunteer activities and community outreach programs. 

Is my donation tax deductible? CHAPTER is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. A portion of all sponsorships are potentially tax deductible. Please remember to fill out a donation form, available in this packet and at the front desk, to report the monetary value of your donation and take advantage of any tax deductions.

Am I required to bid? No, you are not required to bid. Come have dinner, socialize with our community and just have fun! And don’t forget, the auction is a great community building event! A very important part of this fundraising event is building community. This is a great time to socialize with other parents and CHA staff members. Come enjoy time with your friends and make some new ones!
